    Today was the Memorial Day holiday so there was no need for either Max or Sarah to be up and about early. We conformed to our roughly-established routine of a leisurely breakfast followed by a little more tidying, cleaning and organising.     ... us into the Hilton at the O'Hare airport and we did not even have to exit the building, there was an underground passage to the hotel. We were soon checked in and decided we needed a bite of real food and maybe a glass of wine, after all today is STILL Valentines day, same as it was 30 hours ago when we started this journey.

    ... some Chicago Pizza, got a free Hershey chocolate bar and then pulled in to do the John Hancock Observatory - it was fantastic. 360 views of the city which was absolutely sensational. We then headed out to the shops to see about any bargains - again Andrew is the shopped and I came home empty handed.
