Grave decorated we decided to take a trip around historic downtown Tucumcari. Most of Tucumcari's oldest buildings lie along or near Main Street in the Historic Downtown area. These include:

After succumbing to heat we decided it was time to head back to Tucumcari; as we made our way back onto the open road we saw a roadrunner, the first one we'd seen during all our visits to Tucumcari.

Well we made our decision - heading to Phoenix so Stan can take in a couple of days at Barratt Jackson auction then we will roam around where the will takes us. So we drove all day and ended up in New Mexico. Should be in Phoenix this afternoon. Took the scenic route yesterday off of the interstate and saw small town Kansas, Ok and Texas.
