... missing some key things, like a board for cutting and a knife so we bought them at Walmart. We needed forks to eat the bagged salad, but couldn't be bothered to get the BBQ out to get them since all the plates and utensils are stored in that bag...so we tried to eat with a plastic spoon and Ron's pen knife...not an easy task...finally we opted to just stuff the salad into pita bread and eat that way... It was still raining when I woke up in Ashland, WI, yesterday, the forecasts for the area on the Weather Channel were pretty gloomy, so I decided to drive all the way to Grand Rapids, Minnesota, in the hope of hitting some good weather. ... in. Fortunately, traffic was light and I found the tourist bureau so was back on the road quickly.

It seems I can only access the Internet from the hotel lobby so I think I will have to be brief tonight as I need to go for food and I feel a good nights sleep coming on.

I asked the service station attendant what is special about this town and he told me Judy Garland was born here. Who knew?
