We drove from Mountain Home to Mountain View, AR to visit the Ozark Folk Center State Park. About a 50 mile trip both ways. But on Arkansas roads it was a pleasure. Beautiful drive on hilly 2 lane roads past cattle farms and horse farms and wide green pastures. We had a beautiful day weather wise too - 75 degrees and sunshine and a nice breeze. Couldn't have picked a more perfect day.

Steve hooked us up with ringside guest passes for the second show at 7:30pm...we were front row for everything. Believe me when I say (and it's not just because John's now employed by Kelly Miller) this is the BEST circus show I've seen yet. I've loved the other ones we've seen in the past and I'm not taking anything away from those, but this one was my kind of circus...clowns, tiger act, zebra act, ...
... water. We also see bats and experience "total darkness". After the cave tour we do a little hiking in the surrounding park. We see waterfalls, snakes and lizzards. Sometime along the journey I lose my glasses, but seeing these sights is worth it. Check out the pictures.
