Room ok but not large but found booking in extremely frustrating as I had to talk to someone behind a plastic guard and could not see him very well let alone he understand me or me understand him. Not the sort of welcome i expect. First impressions mean a lot and for the first time in America it made me feel uneasy about the place i was staying

... sledging, it's Clipper Darrell the team diehard fan. Half time and 'Kiss cam' and "crowd cam" comes on, so many performances from the crowd, wetting out pants with laughter at the crazy Americans. Game over, Clippers win, we walk out of the Staples Centre to the sound of Kings of Leon, their doing a concert in the car park across the road. We stick around for the end of the concert, then like groupies we wait for them at the exit. We see the band leave the stage straight ...

Of course. Everywhere seems to offer happy hours from 3ish, sometimes until close. So we'd spend the day out and about and then approaching mid-afternoon make our way to a bar to sample the delights on offer. It would be tempting just to stay within ...

... the churches of the 21st century. There's what, half a dozen products, with variations within the product range. Anyway, the place was full of IT geeks having their fun. On the next block there was a Tesla store. I can not wait for this all electric car to hit our shores. 450k's on a single charge, and it fully charges in 40 minutes, and their business lease terms in the states are better than my current lease arrangement. It might be worth thinking ...

... 8 sirens just in the first afternoon?
We slept well, if not for very long that night.

We started day two at 'The Counter' burger bar in downtown, a place where they let you build your own burger with an a5 form listing all it's ingredients. Ingenious and delicious. Following this, we embarked on the hiking trip i had planned for us that afternoon. In 32 degree heat, we shouldered our packs and carry ons, did up our shoe laces and hiked uphill for the ...

... cafe which sold the cutest little treats for dogs which looked just like normal cakes! We were so tempted to buy some for our dogs as the guy said they'd keep for a month or so however we are away for just over a month so they probably would have gone off by the time our dogs got them :( It's a really cool idea though only in Beverly Hills would they have something like this! The driver told us to keep an eye out for celebrities around the farmers market as they ...
