... one. Right to life roadside posters are front and centre on the highways. It must certainly place a great deal of pressure on the women in these rural communities.

Camping is generally easy to find in the US, and can be free in the smaller less visited state parks or forests. It will set you back about twenty Australian dollars a night if you need a shower, eleven if you slap on another layer of deodorant and keep your distance from other shoppers in ...

We arrive in Buena Vista and drop by the Visitor Center. They let us know the Cottonwood Pass is open and there is some amazing camping spots up there. They weren't wrong. A part from the brief thunder storm that passes over we enjoy a crispy night with a beautiful ...

... and roasted marshmallows on sticks we found in the campground. We were so proud of the fire...it was smoking a bit but we finally felt like proper campers! We probably ate too many marshmallows but did perfect the art of a slow roasted mallow. Why is it with a fire, the wind seems to always direct it's flow towards you. We moved around. Smoke in the face. Moved again, smoke in the eye and face.Moved again, smoke in the mouth. And now we have to stay and drive in an ...
