There isn't anything here in Roanake Rapids although the country side we saw on the way was very lush and green. One thing we saw while driving were all the signs for cigarette outlets as cigarettes are cheap in North Carolina. Compare that to South Carolina where I saw many signs for firework outlets which are illegal in North Carolina. Every state has its own quirks.

We arrived in Roanoke Rapids around 7:30 p.m. last night. Once we were checked into the Hampton Inn, the three of us decided to head out for some dinner. We were craving Popeye's chicken since we weren't able to get any while in Orlando this trip due to the free dining we were using at Disney.
