    ... They told us it was the biggest European palace second to the Hermitage in St. Petersburg in Russia. So cool.
    We ate lunch and then we decided to split up. The girls and I went to the pool, Braydon and Jenni went on the tour of the stadium and Barb was the smart one and stayed at the hotel and took a nap.

    ... by-passed the Eisenhower Tunnel, but it was well worth it. The snow covered mountains were exactly what I wanted to see driving through Colorado. Since I had missed basically all of winter, I wanted to see some more snow before another 7 months of warmer weather. It was some of the best scenery on the trip.

    Drove to Story City, Iowa today. The weather was not good today, in fact we drove through pour down rain for about 1 1/2 hrs as we passed through Kansas City and northward. The campground was wet from all the rain and not as pretty as it was the last time we stayed here 4 years ago. Smokey hasn't been sleeping well and has been crying during the night.
