Well it has been several days since there have been any posts. That's because those days have been spent in the field from 8 am until 9 pm harvesting the beans. Beans are fickle and do not like moisture so you needed to get them when they are ready and no rain. It is very tough running out in the field ...
T-minus 3 days to departure and the reality of traveling to another continent for over a month is starting to set in.

Another great fall day here in Iowa and it is time to get the bike out and get back in shape. They have lots of trails around Des Moines and I will be trying out the Raccoon River trail which is over 80 miles. Needless to say I will not make anything close to that.
