Outside the center, the memorial stands: a circular black granite table, which records the names of the martyrs, and chronicles the history of the Movement in lines that radiate like the hands of a clock.     ... They honored us with engraved Adirondack chairs the says "Fisherman's Union" on the back of the chair and "Thanks Joe and Marilyn" on the bottom front. Unbelievable. They'll ship them to Seattle for us.

    So, we left there Sunday morning, drained but exhilerated, full of gratitude for our involvement and influence on so many lives, but also humbled by what it meant, what it did, and what will be a permant addition to the lives of these close friends. ...

    Wayne and Gary are my first cousins that I grew up with in northern Kentucky. We used to have some great times playing monopoly.

    I am holding Wayne and Jemmell to their promise to come visit in the fall!!!!!

    After months of planning and saving I am on my way to a strange country to meet a tour guide to see a new world. What an adventure!!!! We leave for Atlanta Airport.
