No exercise room, inconvenient elevator and below average breakfast. But, hotel is clean and comfortable.

We decided to get out and explore the park on foot. Picked the creek bed trail that travels through the middle of the park. We needed to be hiking by 8 AM. It gets hot on the valley floor toward midday. Our plan was to hike out about a mile and a half and then turn around. We had left the dogs in the camper for the morning with plans to get back by 11 then head out to the little town of Medora for lunch and shopping then ...

Coleslaw and corn as well as cornbread and fries. Mia was in heaven with the ribs and of course Keaton loved the cornbread. After a long glutenous lunch it was back on the road. We hit a few rest stops and fuel to rest the legs. And did one extended stop where I premade fajitas for dinner while Bo had a quick nap. Then ...

We toured a preserved 4 room cabin that was his original ranch house. We then took an 18 mile auto tour of the park. We saw a couple of buffalo, several prairie dog towns, ...

We were told about a show that was going to take place this afternoon by a Theodore Roosevelt actor. So we decided to go. It was a good place to get away from the rain. The actor looked just like him. Paul loves to hear about history, so he loved ...

The gang and I were up early to drive me back to yesterday's break down point. I was grateful for the cool and calm morning as I continued my ride on 200S. It was an easy 30ish mile ride into Glendive, where I crossed the Yellowstone River and breezed past the Holiday Inn Express where Maura and ...
