Los Angeles was a beautiful place. It was surrounded by sand but it had all sources that we needed. There were all sources for children. IT is truly known as the city of fly overs . It was definitely worth a stay .

... day we headed straight for Mt San Jacinto, there is an amazing 2 mile cable car journey from the hot desert valley floor to the snow covered mountain top at 8500ft. I'm not too bad with heights now but the 12 minute ride going up the side of Mt Jacinto in the rotating cable car was pretty scary!!
