The road then headed inland & we soon realised we were in fact in a conventional fan over with lots of sand & dust to keep us company! Near Ventura (yes I was looking for Ace but didn't find him! ) we headed out to pick up Route 1 again at Santa Monica which we hoped would lose the dusty strong winds coming from the land, they were so strong I did ...

... around Hollywood and Beverly Hills. The tour ran for about 2 hours and ended up being worth it, and surpassed expectations. Which was good, but it was about the only thing in Hollywood that did. Our tour guide was hilarious, speaking to us like we were in a Year 1. Clearly explaining everyone to utmost detail. Quite entertaining to be honest. We drove past the house of the likes of Sly Stallone, Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Kim & ...

Time tosay goodbye to Anheim and say hello to Hollywood. Finished up at Disney and did the Giant Drop there. Similar to ours except it is set in total darkness in a mock elevator shaft. Pretty cool - shoots up and down few times and in the dark makes it interesting :) They also have small yetis making the popcorn there - Disney you genius!!
