... will be a happy man. It was really great to catch up with everyone today. We smoked a variety of meats on our new Weber smoker including my signature ribs. We had a great time and we look forward to spending more time here in the future. Once retired, I can see us spending summers here in the RV.

This paragraph is for my good friend Darren who was disappointed that I did not have a story of misadventure yet. So, we love our new RV. It has ...

... as well. This morning we went out to breakfast for some good food and more discussion. It was a very nice visit. Next time we are going to have to allocate some more time. Randy offered me a jeep ride in the mountains - that sounds exciting.

... took the girls for a hike along Cottonwood Creek in order to wear
them out so they wouldn’t mind being left alone later. The hike was at around
9,500ft and we felt it. We could see the snowy summit of Mt Princeton from the
trailhead, and Sheep Mountain came into view through the aspens about a mile
in. Just gorgeous. The day was a hot one, so when we spotted a pond below the
trail, we let the girls take off towards the water. ...

Our meander continued as we followed a series of scenic byways that took past several of Colorado's "fourteeners," the mountains that climb above 14,000-feet. Jack had prepared a travel binder filled with essential travel information: Best Campgrounds of Colorado, Scenic Byways (25!), Festivals and Special Events, and Wineries.

The most useful section was Scenic Byways and, as we have meandered around The Centennial State, we have ...
