Sheila and I spent the night at the Peter's retirement home in Buena Vista, Colorado. Randy and Dori have a beautiful home on the golf course. Randy's house is similar to the design we plan on when we build in Kentucky. Sheila and I got some good ideas for our house.
When we arrived last night, we were greeted by three deer hanging out in Randy's yard. We had a good visit with Randy and Dori getting some advice on retirement life. Randy and I also talked a little ...
... Pass as we headed to Buena Vista. We plan to meet Randy Peters and his wife Dori. Randy is a friend of mine who I worked with for many years at John Deere. These days are spent sightseeing in the car. Bonus was seeing a mother moose very close to the Lodge.
Tomorrow we begin our adventure to the west coast

The flight to ASE took off about a hour late and they didn’t say why, but we got in eventually. I suspect it may have been ...
Our meander continued as we followed a series of scenic byways that took past several of Colorado's "fourteeners," the mountains that climb above 14,000-feet. Jack had prepared a travel binder filled with essential travel information: Best Campgrounds of Colorado, Scenic Byways (25!), Festivals and Special Events, and Wineries.
The most useful section was Scenic Byways and, as we have meandered around The Centennial State, we have ...
