... mountain then hiked the 1.25 mile/2000 feet to the top (our Fitbit told us we had climbed 118 flights of stairs, that'll clean out the pipes)!!! It was an incredible experience we'll never forget!!
Next we visited the North Pole & Santa's Workshop before heading to Lake Placid to see the lake & the Olympic Village!! It was another crazy day!!

... near the end of their driveway for people to read as they drive past. They began in the Finger Lakes region and are noticeable throughout the Adirondack area as well. They say NO FRACKING, NO NY SAFE ACT, or NO LPG. All related to hydraulic fracturing trends growing in the region due to all of the shale which holds oil and gas in New York. People feel really strongly about keeping this area pure and unpolluted (can you blame them)!

... eight… but I thought the float plane was cool! Finally Dad and I would row out about 2/3 of the way to Crown Point and drop his buoy marking his fishing spot. Crown Point was across the lake from our dock, a distance of about ½ mile. The Lake Trout fishing was excellent as I remember. Dad would go out every morning early and also in the evening. He taught me how to clean them, and it was at Massawepie I caught my first fish.
