... we will be on our way. So new plan for our first day...staying in Vancouver and heading to Granville Island. Chris seems to be recovering nicely... after I took him for a nice stress relieving walk at 5 am this morning. I'm feeling grateful for so many things today...and at the top of the list is that my first aid is up to date to travel with my ...

    1. The metric system – it just makes more sense

    2. Availability of South African goods: e.g. Amarula, Smarties, Marmite, Aromat

    3. Wineries – who wouldn’t

Day 5 - Back to Naramata Bench

A travel blog entry by my2cats on Sep 20, 2014

... for showering and then it was back off to Naramata to Poplar Grove Winery where we had a couple of neighbouring wineries doing tastings. This was at their restaurant Vanilla Pod. As soon as we walked in the table set for 56 of us looked incredible with all of the glassware. The wines weren't stellar so we didn't buy any. Our four course dinner started with a tomato salad that was outstanding, following by risotto balls ...
