Driving from NYC to Lake Placid was a great experience, its amazing how quickly the city stops and suburbs and countryside take over, in only a five hour drive we arrived at the foot of the Adironack Park and began to drive up to Lake Placid through the snow. The boys had a few turns and with each one they got a little further than the one before. Jay, of course, was digging and smoothing to make the best track possible with a bit of a jump at the end.
