      After staying at one of the nicest show ground campsites around ($22 powered including washing machine use), we arrived at the Information centre just before 10 am for their daily free Heritage tour ( best to book as we did, as it was full by the time we left).       So out of The Big Smoke and off to beautiful Armidale. It's up in the hills so it's quite a bit cooler and greener than you'd expect. We took "Thunderbolts Way" which goes through some quite hilly and picturesque country. Very popular with the motorbicyclist folk. Shame the surface is so bad in many areas. Almost need a dirt bike/tard. Had dinner at Kym and Jen Leske's place. Great to catch up again after all these years and see what direction other family's lives have taken. Thanks ...
