... up with a 40 minute delay getting across the border and continuing our trip. We finally make it to the Gaylord KOA about 5 PM. It is a beautiful campground and although it is quite large, it is really quiet. After being sleep deprived for the past several days due to the late nights visiting with family we were really looking forward to a good nights rest.

... one we had was delicious! The building was very small so we ate at the bar along with lots of other people.
There are lilac bushes all around the island. We saw one that was very big and tall like a tree. The tour guide told us it wasn't a tree but a lilac bush that is 120 years old! You'll see the picture included. I may even try to paint it with my new found hobby of water color painting!
Update: Wow! Another great day behind us as we are making headway up this large mountain. Bill successfully had his 25th of 25 photon radiation treatments yesterday, Monday 21, 2014. He has now completed all of his pre-surgery radiation & chemo treatments. He gets to rest and recuperate for about 5 weeks before his surgery (to be scheduled later in May). He will continue to work when he is up to ...
