We went to our first Starbucks to discuss over coffee whether (a) we could physically carry on (b) whether we wanted to carry on. We've cycled over 2,000 miles in 25 days and I'm at my lowest physically and mentally. We decided to sleep on it and reappraise in the morning - our 3rd rest day.
That evening a formal dinner was served by the hotel for our members. We had a great time and took lots of photos. Our friends from Texas volunteered to host next year's reunion in Fredericksburg, TX in October.

... their dinner. I know what some of you may be thinking, however mom said there was absolutely NO dust, flinging dirt (or anything else). A very entertaining spectacular patriotic show. I must say this was my favorite dinner because I got to help mom eat her leftovers for the next couple of nights, chicken my personal favorite.
