... few mountains away but they were causing huge smoke clouds that were drifting for miles!! The rest of the drive to San Bernardino was less dramatic and we found our little Super 8 motel, which just so happens to be right next door to IHOP so we all know where we're heading for breakfast ...

... What was constant was that the meter in the taxi starts at $2,85 which makes me wonder if I sat in it and decided to get out rather than use it, would the sit have cost me $2,85?
