Am suffering a little jet lag (although I can't complain, it's the first time on this trip) so wide awake in the early hours... Not that it's a problem as I can relax and enjoy lazy days which is pretty much what I did today.... apart from getting a much needed manicure, pedicure and foot massage! Researching if I can get to San Francisco for a few days for not too much money... Road trip planned this weekend... not sure where yet.... somewhere north. Vegas road trip next ...
... route - Highway 101. We stopped in at beautiful Santa Barbara for a morning coffee. The drive into Los Angeles was very hectic, with lots of traffic. We finally made it to our destination in Anaheim, which is 1 of Los Angeles 82 cities, and more importantly, the home of Disneyland!
We ended our day with a beautiful turkey roast and pumpkin pie at the only restaurant we could find that was open.
... surprisingly long. Some people are very dedicated to getting to their rides of choice first!
I know I really shouldn't judge based on one experience, but it seemed that Magic Morning actually made the lines for rides worse, because only two sections of the park were open, so the aforementioned 'hundreds of people' were all lining up for only a handful of rides. ... I went to Space Mountain and got us a fast pass. We did a few more rides in Fantasyland then headed over to TomorrowLand for lunch. Space Mountain next and Mackie and I waited to get a front row. I wonder what the bones of that ride look like with the lights on, I think that it would be more scary if you could see how confined a space it takes place in. Back to Toontown and the Roger Rabbit ride. Mackie at this stage ...
