      ... a picnic lunch. It was so nice with no flies or mozzies. Very few people so definitely no noisy radios like yesterday.
      Idyllic in fact!

      There was a small military museum but we gave it a miss.

      As we were driving along, I saw a sign to a waterfall, and wanted to investigate. Great name Taughannock Falls. Almost as good as some names in NZ eh! I really like the rock colours round ...

      ... come from. this includes south korea, mexico and Hungry.
      then a circus performance in front of an orchestra, and finally a $72,000 firework display just for camp, the best i have ever seen!

      6th was another day off, and we had the choice to pay $30 to get on a coach to NYC, but half the people i hang around with either went before camp, or is going after camp. so we decided to do what the campers do on a lazy day - they go into hancock at certain times ...

      We only had 5 days here but...WOW! Even though we had some incredible storms, we had a few nice days & packed them in seeing some of this area of New York which included Cooperstown & the Baseball Hall of Fame plus a 225 mile drive through the Catskill Mountains which included a 5 mile hike ...

      ... cramped because people deciden to buy trolly loads from walmart, some even bought draws. some spent $200 - i spent only $20.

      friday we had more meetings and cutting wood on the big buzz saw - felt so powerful. then two of our campers came - one rich kid from LA, and one from florida.

      and today was more pancakes for breakfast, then had fun with yet more wood. i love a good bit of wood, especially long strait 6" pieces and cutting them and plaining ...
