Our next stop was Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin which is the county seat of Door County. Door County is roughly 300 miles of coastline stretching along the eastern Lake Michigan side and the western Green Bay side of the peninsula islands with quaint New England type towns and communities. It is home to 3 state parks, 8 county parks, many local parks and 15 natural areas and preserves. A truly beautiful place to visit. I love to travel through the countryside and ...

Having been home over a week now, I am still no happier to be here. I did get the chance to do a little shopping and replace my carry-on, so I believe that means it is time to plan the next trip! As far as the title goes, I was composing that in my head the second night I was home, as I lay there unable to sleep. Night one was a beautiful thing (for me at least). I was out from around 10pm until ...

... of us to fill an entire bus. Once we finally made it to our terminal and ditched our bags, it was time to find some food (the airline fare was seriously lacking!). Carl's Junior was the only thing in sight and ended up tasting oh so delicious. Exhaustion was overtaking us and I think we were both out cold before our flight took off from LA. I know I didn't even make it to the ...
