Another boring travel day ... overnighted in Kingston, and saw Fort Henry, another major British stronghold to protect British North American from Cousin Johnathon.

I made a navigational error as I neared Montreal (which I really feared - the GPS didn't work in Canada and all signs were in French) and I spent a long time on back roads until I worked out where I was. From Merrickville we headed to Brockville before coming back to camp. We were unable to easily find a place to park so just drove some of the Water Route, Brockville being on the St. Lawrence. Lots of historical homes and buildings in this town as well. This area is teeming with history to be sure -- not quite as old as many places in the Maritimes ...
