... Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins had all spent time together singing and playing and creating merry music. On the wall was a photo capturing this moment, known forever as the Million Dollar Quartet. We heard music from the famous session. We were also given the opportunity to hold onto the microphone that Elvis Presley sang into on that day, and other days he had recorded singles here – it was the photo opportunity of a lifetime!

... we were still early. We found yet another cafe and ordered some Sprite to drink and used their WC. This claimed to be the oldest cafe in Reyjavik. Soon the shops opened up and we enjoyed strolling down the cobble stone streets and talking to the shop keepers. ... the road and then are moved across in small buses to control the numbers. You only get to visit the 2 floors in the house, not the bedrooms upstairs. Decor is well - interesting (I am being kind) - very 60's and 70's, including while lounges, carpet on the ceiling in the basement, rooms with themes e.g. the family room is done in a jungle theme. It just feels like a very comfortable family home (if you like the decor). You visit areas outside too, the racquet ball court ...

the museum about the civil rights and the little rock 9, it was an
interesting museum, lots to read and understand. The it was back on
