... Couple of investments at the Amaroo tavern without any great sucess. Kenny had his first day back at work today. We had a swim in the thermal pools which are very clean & well presented. No charge for the pools - included in your site charge which was $31 so it really is very reasonable.

... village de 150 habitants perdu dans le bush (arrière-pays) australien, heureusement situé le long d'un highway (à 2 voies qui rencontrent), ce qui en fait son attrait touristique principal puisque c'est une belle place pour avoir une petite fringale et faire un arrêt pipi. Apparemment que les locaux ne sont pas très sympathiques et que les truckies (truckeurs) sont souvent de mauvaises humeurs et sont reconnus pour aimer se plaindre.

We reached Moree late afternoon and after inspecting the free roadside rest stops we decided to go to the Gwydir Carapark which had wonderful therapeutic artesian pools to soak in and all for $26 per night without power. The powered area of the park was totally full with extra vans parked in driveways etc. We were happy with our lovely green grass, ...

Anzac Day

Alarms set for 4am – all set to leave the house at 4.30am for the Canberra Dawn Service at 5.30am. With a temperature of 2°C forecast – we all rugged up. We certainly underestimated the number of attendees! We had to abandon our parking plan and park at Russell and get a free bus shuttle to the War ...
