    ... got to the final downfallen tree, where we had earlier noticed caused folks to sit and ponder “what's next” or start shedding layers. Apparently here there was a crossing of CHEST high water(up to my armpits) . The DEEP part of the water lasted only about 10 feet, but have I mentioned yet how cold the water was in this Gorge?     Today we took a road trip to the Oregon Coast, arrived just in time for lunch at Mo's, first opened its doors in 1946, located right on the pier.     ... changed into my swimsuit and headed for the pool. I love swimming and it usually refreshes and relaxes me all at the same time, but today I was a slug in the water and didn't even enjoy floating; I was really tired.
