... got to the final downfallen tree, where we had earlier noticed caused folks to sit and ponder “what's next” or start shedding layers. Apparently here there was a crossing of CHEST high water(up to my armpits) . The DEEP part of the water lasted only about 10 feet, but have I mentioned yet how cold the water was in this Gorge? Today we took a road trip to the Oregon Coast, arrived just in time for lunch at Mo's, first opened its doors in 1946, located right on the pier. ... ride from Yellowstone to West Glacier was over some really good roads with little traffic and great scenery, although we did have a full day of 550 miles, which is a good day on these curves roads. The KOA at West Glacier was a welcome sight, even though I rode right past it and Greg had to haul me down and redirect me.
