... parking lot, we continued our journey. The next stop was Multnomah Falls. This should have been a really quick stop, as the falls are right off the road. But our first problem was the insane parking. Followed by the MASSES of people on the bridge. By now we were all fairly famished, so we stopped at the Multnomah Lodge for a late lunch (2:30). We didn’t order anything tricky, but our food took an exceptionally long time to come ...

Then there is the crazy male peacock, old blue, who sounds like a cat meowing to me. There is a large number of several breeds of goats. We came home, and just hung around until we went to McGraff's for supper. After coming home, we again just hung around and eventually went to ...

David has returned to Home Sweet Home! He had a wonderful adventure and has oddles and oddles of stories that I have just begun to hear. He is also exhausted and is getting much needed sleep, probably 12-14 hours today/tonight! We reviewed his pictures between naps today and he has some beautiful shots. So, more to come after he catches up on his rest. Maggie and I are thrilled to have him you can see from the picture I took when he got ...

... tools and a great selection of guns. Our next venue was the State Fair. We entered at the agricultural section, so checked out the cows, pigs and goats on our way through to sales stalls (where Wayne tricked me into eating some spicy hot jerky) and onto the fair games. Wayne needed to give the various gun games a go, but didn't succeed in winning any prizes, which was a good thing as we've already got too much stuff now to fit on the ...
