... parking lot, we continued our journey. The next stop was Multnomah Falls. This should have been a really quick stop, as the falls are right off the road. But our first problem was the insane parking. Followed by the MASSES of people on the bridge. By now we were all fairly famished, so we stopped at the Multnomah Lodge for a late lunch (2:30). We didn’t order anything tricky, but our food took an exceptionally long time to come ...

First was wine country and hippy towns. We stopped at a makeshift head shop along the way but just couldn't bring ourselves to buy tie dyed anything. We came home, and just hung around until we went to McGraff's for supper. After coming home, we again just hung around and eventually went to ...

... street would be blocked (below us) until noon. About 35 cars then had to turn around and head down the one way hill. Luckily everyone was in the spirit and no dents or crashes occurred. Finally, after heading back to the freeway and around the traffic, we found a spot to park and walked to the starting line. There were 35,000 participants this year, between the runs and walks - 15K, 8K, and 5K runs, a kids lap and finally, our walk, the ...

... li>The bus that we reserved to take us from one airport to another in London failed to show up, and when the next one showed up, it was too full, and when the next one showed up, the driver refused to let us on because we were late.

  • We arrived in Paris, called the landlord of the apartment we had rented for a week, and he didn't answer. Repeatedly.
  • We got on the wrong train in some English town and ...
