Our goal in Sheridan was to get closer to Yellowstone and to have internet access. As we drove into town, a deer ran across Main Street and disappeared before I could grab my camera.
We left Bonner's ferry at 6:00 this morning....right on time! We did a lot of driving today and made it to Sheridan, WY by 5:00' Washington time. Now we didn't stop to see anything, except McDonald's for an egg mcmuffin and, wow, McDonald's for a quarter pounder. We have to tell you that I90 in Montana is pretty darn boring. Peter D's RV Park had a few negative online reviews. The Host at the Great Falls FamCamp (Malmstrom) knew Peter and said both he and the park were nice. The RV Park was nothing special but it was well run and Peter was quite a character. He had rules and expected you to follow them. His park ... his rules. We had no problem with his request.

... Mountains. At the restaurant we ate a delicious buffet with beef stew, mashed potatoes, and sweet corn. The best part was the carrot cake for dessert.
After lunch we continued to travel along US 14 towards Cody, Wyoming. Cody was founded in 1896 by Colonel William F. "Buffalo Bill Cody. He was know for being a Pony Express rider, scout, hunter, entrepreneur and showman. I experienced a re-enactment of a wild west shoot-out in front of the Irma Hotel. ...
... wheel drive trail. It is between Sheridan and cody. We tried to get to the other side of the mountain but ran into too much snow at around 8500 feet. We had to turn around and come back the same way. The good news is that we saw two Moose on the way back down. We ended up back in town for a late lunch. We leave tomorrow for Yellowstone National Park
