Leaving Miami. All Packed. Ready to go. We drove from Miami to Lake City. A little over 400 miles and 4 Superchargers. The charging wasn't bad and was located where and when I needed to stop anyway for food and breaks. Diesel was great and seems to be very happy traveling. He left his mark everywhere!! We stopped in Gainesville to grab some lunch at place called The Top. Sadly when we did not realize that it would be closed until 5pm. We decided to just pop in at the Harvest Cafe that was on the corner. The food was super simple but perfect! We all ordered avocado sandwiches and then hit the road once again. We all gathered in the parking lot ready for our day of driving. The whole drive was boring and uneventful. The scenery was the same the whole time, big paddocks and a few trees here and there. After we arrived at the campgrounds we quickly set up our tents but the humidity was a killer so we decided a swim was in order ASAP. Half the group decided to rent tubes and float down the entire river but I chose to check out a few of the springs ...
