PVR (Puerto Vallarta) well now there is a HUB for Albertans. I know at least 4 people that live there and commute between PVR and Edmonton. And, we happened to book our trip AT SPRING BREAK and the week before EASTER.
The last few days have been a strange blur of happy reunions and an odd feeling of disorientation. Driving along the highway into Hinton, bumping over the tracks into the Valley and catching a glimpse of Roche Miette in the distance is exhilarating. I find myself beaming at ordinary things like license plates and oil rigs and the Welcome to Hinton sign.

We went out to the biggest mall in the world the other day West Ed Mall, big enough to fit a full scale pirate ship, an aquarium thing with seals, and roller coasters.. all inside.of course we went on the roller coasters which were great, not the small things i was expecting (one had 3 loop the loops)

I think Krista's whole family think I'm "special" because I got overly excited about pretty much everything and was taking photos like, excuse the generalisation, a Japanese tourist. Despite this, they were so lovely and generous, and bar the occasional accent mocking, I had an awesome time.
