... the UK! I still miss Pine View such a lot, far more than I ever expected to.
I expected Thursday to be a day of waiting around, so to keep everyone amused we went to see James and the children had a swim in the pool. A great activity to do to stop them asking when we were going to have a new house and also to cool them down, as the sun was definately shining. The house was ready way before we expected, so after the swim, it was a quick ...
... point is not to judge anyone's choices, we are all who we are, and that is okay. My point is to remember to question ourselves, question what we think is reality because we are the ones who are most likely holding back, no one else is really stopping us.
If you are reading this, know that I respect and admire you for living. I really am a humble guy and don't venture to suggest I know much of anything, my intent is to share. If ...
... to chat while the children played. The children loved the black sand and got well and truely covered in the stuff! They found a little rock overhang and decided it was a little cave for them to live in.....of course we had to visit!
After a couple of hours here we headed back towards the city, with some decisions made - we now know that the west coast is where we want to live. Quite ...

It turned out that Peter was in town that night and was due to make an appearance at the restaurant but regrettably did not turn up.
... as a very dear individual reminded me of, and kept myself for any opportunity or alternative that could come along, as quoted and reminded of by another good friend. I was attentive at all times, and made the most of all my experiences.
I am looking forward to more writing, and shorter more detailed blogs soon. Sorry for the "long winded highlights" blog, but I just wanted to get this out and share it with you all. Take care, until the next time!

... I ended up getting up at 4.30am just so I could put my mind at ease! have to go now... Okay so now we are sitting at McD's killing some time before we go through to the other side. Check in was a breeze didn't have to wait in line much at all. Found out the other day that we don't have AVOD (personal entertainment screen thingy) on the first leg of of the trip so we had to make sure we loaded some movies and comedy to ...
Auckland, North Island, New Zealand dzinergirl... makuuhuoneen kämppä 20. kerroksessa ja hienot maisemat suoraan Sky Towerille.
Auckland, North Island, New Zealand travellerhans... and a lovely drive through hilly pasturelands, although rather dry because of lack of rain since Christmas. Rather to her surprise the usually sleepy Raglan was heaving with a vintage car rally, complete with pop band at full blast. However, we parked and had lunch in her favourite café and then moved on to a nearby bay where we walked along the beach on good firm sand. Apart from a number of people swimming and surfing in the lifeguard area the ...
Auckland, North Island, New Zealand uspearls... full circuit to get an overview of the city before exploring on our own, however the last stop but one was at the 'Sky Tower' a wonderful vantage point to get an overview of the whole city. Having disembarked the bus and purchased the tickets to the Sky Tower we entered the elevator which took us to the 54th floor - this was fine until the concrete block work of the elevator shaft gave way to glass so that those who had the nerve could ...
Auckland New Zealand, Society Islands, New Zealand nickelaine... had to walk another 15 min due to road closure. It is a very comfortable work with great scenery of the bay. The event is a reenactment of the first group of Europeans lead by Governor Hobson and the meeting with the Maori chief. I still don't know the full story but I promise I will look it up further. The next place of interest will be one of the attractions in Auckland, a 1 hr hike at Rangitoto Island. Formed 600 years ago from the sea in a ...
