    ... down here – yesterday I was sitting outside a café across the park from our flat, babysitting Tony and Warren’s dog while they were in Auckland – it was a good rolling jolt. So that was very considerate of Christchurch to try and initiate the Aucklanders.

    ... another recommendation from a friend. We had been told no visit to Temuka was complete until we had visited the Temuka Pottery shop. The township has been home to the famous Temuka pottery since 1930’s. It was an adorable shop inside the historic Mendelson Barn, selling all kinds of Temuka pottery with pretty designs. The pottery was priced something similar to Denby at home, with a single coffee mug costing around $30. The shop also had a cute little café attached, which ...
