popularity of Halloween in Australia was clear at this point.
Everyone on the full bus was our age, but only half of us were in
costume. This is on a public bus, in a university suburb, on a
Saturday night, on Halloween. In North America, everyone
          would be dressed up! Interesting...

          We got to the party

I got up early by means of the sun
(before my alarm) and collected myself for the busy morning. I made a
nice smoothie and then hopped in White Lightening (hybrid rental
, it does not really have this name...). The ride was great.
As I said before, I do love to drive. I blasted some music and
scooted easily into downtown Brisbane, stopping to refuel. We only
          used half a tank! Bonkers!

I arrived at 7.20 and had to wait until
          8.00 when Budget ...

          Daniel and I
cleaned dishes, cleaned more enclosures and went for morning tea.
After, we added mulch to two enclosures and prepared some foods.
Sandy took Daniel to do other tasks and she left me with preparing
the meat diets and with getting the frozen bits out for the next day.
I loved the slight increase in responsibility. Each day and season,
Chicky gets different meats. I got to ...

They were by a cocktail bar sipping
$12-18 drinks. Both because I was cold and on a budget, I passed on
drinking there. Arcadia is awesome! There are four bars, one a
rooftop one, and a series of gourmet foodtrucks. Then, there are two
main show tents 'Fear & Delight' and the Speigel Tent, which

... coming from further down the beach, so we went over for a look. It turned out that Airlie Beach has a massive market on a Saturday morning full of local food and handicrafts. It was really nice to speak to some of the local traders, and we treated ourselves to some pure mango sorbet and an organic sausage roll. Thinking about it, that was probably the best sausage roll I’ve ever had. Not only was the food good and reasonably priced, there were also camels giving rides on ...
