          ... walk from Sawmill Beach to Dugong Beach one day. We also went dugong spotting in the brig right up in the shallows in Dugong Inlet past Lady Islet and into the northern reaches of this large shallow bay but didn't see any.           Jack is now 10 wks old, every day either taller or longer. Now the once half-cocked ears are more erect,sometimes. He has discovered Milly's lime-yellow tennis ball nestled tightly in its plastic launching contraption and concentratedly he attempts to prise it free.           ... to use his new toy...a camera with a waterproof housing which I had bought him for Christmas.....previously only experimented with in the bath! We discovered though, that snorkelling in the winter in Australia....even if the sun was shining, the sky is blue and the temperature is in the early 20s, is a different experience to snorkelling in the summer, and a wetsuit was most definitely required!
