... the tide was not up so the view was not as nice as it could have been. The stone sitting area is nice to see, you can imagine people sitting on the same stone for the longest period which the record so far is 5 days I recall.

... Darwin afterwards stopping at Lake Alexander for lunch then continuing onto a car wash. It was pretty cool - you slot the coins in then hold the high pressure hose as water jets out onto the car. We finally made it to the Top End and Australia's most northern capital city – DARWIN!

We have been acclimatising and getting used to the heat but it was still very hot. We had to take a trip to the mall and buy a fan from Kmart as our little 12volt fan was not going to offer much relief.
