Day 30! OMG! How time flies when you are out exploring. We finally slept & woke to a cool morning. Our first stop was the Magnetic Termite Mounds which looked like a cemetery. Clever things termites,they build mounds so big to survive the wet season and also build them north to south to conserve heat. We then headed out to Buley Rockpool and Florence Falls. Buley is a series of little rapids with a very deep rockpool to jump in, very picturesque. Then Florence is 2 waterfalls ...

At first we saw only one barrimundi but soon there were lots of them and someone had brought some fish to feed them and thats when it got exciting. We enjoyed the early morning breeze as we layed in bed & listened to the birds. They're loud up here! It's Saturday morning & we are off to see Dales Uncle & Aunty who live in Woolner, an inner suburb of Darwin, about 15 mins from here. They live in a 3 BR unit, a hop skip & jump from the waterfront, that is very similar to our Docklands, but 100 times better as it's so tropical here, & has so much amazing history.
