... Walked through the town and down a lot of steps to bring us back to the waterfront and on to the ship. It felt quite funny to be dealing in Aussie money again. We didn't have to work out how much it was worth.
On to the ship and almost straight up to the Oasis Bar to watch a beautiful sail out.
That will be the last Port report from me but I will try to give a few more details on other things over the next couple of days.

... nails and gained first class access to my personal one kilo of export quality banana prawns. We ate seafood for dinner for the next 4 nights, by which point we were dying for a steak! The car fridge had a pungent aroma of humming, over ripe fish that proved hard to eradicate.
Just before the NT border is Lawn Hill National Park. Simply put, a palm tree lined, aqua water oasis in the middle of dry, crackly savannah ...
... 8217;s eyes are sore from all the swimming (it was nickys eyes the day before) so he hides behind my sunnies and looks like a little Elton John. ... around whilst people throw in bread. We saw mullet, catfish, milkfish, bream and barramundi. It is one of the top attractions in Darwin believe it or not.
Then we went and had a look around the Parliament building, which is relatively new and very impressive. Finally we went and had a look around the Australian Pearling Exhibition which was extremely interesting and focussed on the methods used in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s to collect pearls and then also ...
... Aussie road markers! Foxs, Dingos, huge lizards, Emus, millions of termite mounds etc, etc.
6.30pm. Yaaay, Mt Isa. We quickly found a motel and went for a walk to relieve numb bums. A very early night, after, dare I say, Subway for dinner.
