We have also seen the usual fresh and salt water crocs, dingos and last night I was kept awake by fruit bats, bandicoots, possums and who knows what else but they all sure made a hell of a din in the dry leaves around our swags!!! ... Children $5 or $18 Family. There is another free swimming area next to it which is great for a dip. Walked along the shops on the waterfront and then drove out to the pier.Walked through the streets and saw the Christ Church Cathedral which was destroyed in the Darwin Cyclone all that was left standing was the entry which they left and rebuilt behind it.
A lot of history documented through the streets all worth a look.
