... after a short rest in the United Club, we were able to board the nonstop to Denver, avoid the snow (and eventual delays) in Chicago, and get home much earlier than expected.
We got home right about 2pm, which is normal nap time. It took a minor act of God to get the kids to wake up at 5pm on the normal schedule in order to go back to bed at 8pm, but we did it, and they did it, and the adjustment back to home time went really well.

Drove all day on the 1-35 then the 1-70 and made it into the Leaches house in Parker Colorado just south of Denver about 7:30pm mountain time (we gained an hour). After getting Zach settled downstairs in bed which took over an hour we were finally able to relax and have a glass of wine. It was nice to have some quality time with the Leaches before Mum and Dad arrived the next day.
