We got up around 8:00 and I got in the shower. I went downstairs after my shower to check on the kids, Nick was up talking to Michelle and Alex was still sleeping. Michelle was making pancakes, bacon and hash browns for breakfast. After breakfast, Greg took a shower and we packed up our stuff and headed out for the Rocky Mountains. We left their house around 10:30 and got to Estes Park around 11:30. We stopped at an overlook with ...

and didn’t have the normal wear and tear of airplanes in service today. Our departure was on-time; we were at last, en route and very excited, it was 16:45 when we took off.

There is something about the airport that makes me feel like that old saying "a man without a country." It's as if I am now a citizen of the generic world of airports, a special space both within and outside of real spaces, real places, ...

... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights. We drove back home and Skyped the family, it was really nice to see everybody and wish them merry Christmas. Everybody went to bed excited for the following ...
