Our total hiking distance has been approx. 52 Kms and apart from tired muscles and sore\blistered feet we have are un-scathed. ... and the man’s ten year-old son. They shared firewood, ice, and beer, and we roasted marshmallows together. They generously let us cook on their camp stove and wash our dishes in their wash pan. The final night of our stay the conversation turned to music and dancing, and we ended up demonstrating blues dancing, bachata, cumbia, and merengue for them, and then giving them an impromptu dance lesson in merengue and bachata! It ...
