    Highlights

    Unfortunately mother nature decided to not play ball with us and stopped our planned activity of canoeing for the day. This is the first time that weather has prevented us doing anything on the trip, it was bound to happen as we head north east during the latter part of the summer.

    Highlights

    Awoke to a dreary, cold and rainy day, weather that I think is more typical here than the previous two hot sunny days. We were strapped in for a long drive anyway so luckily for us it didn't really matter.

    ... Tara took to it all right away, and Glenn was a trooper, though not enjoying the muddy spots. Kevin, Carol, and Karl's experience guided us through the tough day which ended with setting up camp where we would stay four nights.     We caught TONS of giant smallmouth bass! The weather was decent, except for a couple of super windy days. We managed to avoid any bears or scary wildlife...just lots of chipmunks! As usual, the scenery was great. There's just something so cool about nature that's virtually untouched by man.
