... Nelson only left in the afternoon so I had time to enjoy the beach surroundings and the blowholes at the Pancake Rocks. At high tide the waves crash through the rocks and shoot up through them like a blowhole. My favourite was one known as the chimney pot. The spray of the water comes through a small crack, making it look like steam coming out of a pot. It was a unique natural phenomenon and well worth the visit. ... lots of mini waterfalls. It poured the entire time but it made the walk prettier in some ways because the waterfalls were better. Stephanie got completely drenched, and my feet and shoes got soaked, so we were kinda relieved to finish lol.  Met anna on the bus back - she'd had a bit of a boring day, cos she obviously couldnt sunbathe on the beach like she'd planned! ... der Flora und Fauna, bis hin zu wichtigen Ereignissen in und um Neuseeland. Das Museum ist jedoch so groß, dass ich nach 3 Stunden nur 2 von 5 Etagen gesehen habe. Das interessanteste war der Simulationsraum, in dem ein Erdbeben nachgestellt wurde. Jedoch 50 Mal schwacher, als ein Erdbeben von 6,3 auf der
