... lying in the paddock. As we look on, the little one struggles to his feet for the first time. He staggers around a little, then keels over again. The mom is keeping a close eye on us, the strangers at the fence. Several hours later, we look in on the young one again, he is up and walking with confidence now. Amazing. He learns in three or four hours what it takes us two years to master.

... in the trees. We spent the next two days hiking to a few of the magnificent waterfalls. Some are just a short walk from the road, others required a two hour hike through forest, along rivers and down steep hillsides. Each time we were rewarded with the roar of the water and the clouds of mist surrounding the dramatic walls of water crashing to the rocks below. Clearwater turned out to be the most beautiful place to end our Canadian ...

We headed to Clearwater Provincial Park early in the morning. Our first stop was at a small coffee shop for some large and much needed coffees & a gluten free treat to share. There were a few things we needed to pick up (camera SD card, fruit, Lenny treats, some chicken...) so we decided to stop in Kelowna at the Wal-Mart there. Because it was extremely hot out Rob sent me in with his credit card with the instructions to "not buy a ...

... ride we went on yesterday when we were rafting.

We stopped by a little secret beach, tied up the horses and had lunch. Halfway through our delicious snack i went and fed the horses some apple cores and some leaves but afterwards my horse looked as if she was having constipation. I was quite worried about getting back on but it was fine.

We rode back to the ranch and sat under Sarah's cherry tree to use her wifi.

Today was a long day, but filled with spectacular scenery, waterfalls, pine trees and nature. We left Kamloops and drove to Wells Gray Provincial Park, Clearwater. We stopped at the Wells Gray information Centre and Joanne and I bought a cap each. We had lunch in the nearby park. Then we were off to see five waterfalls - Spahats Falls, The Mushbowl, Dawson Falls, Helmcken Falls and after a quick dip in Clearwater Lake - for Julie and Michelle - the final waterfall ...
