    ... of them a very pretty.
    People really do say "y'all". It's very cute and we have to try hard not to laugh!
    Everyone thinks we're English. Whenever anyone asks or comments on our accent, the question is always "what part of England are you from?" or "are you from England"! So far no one has guessed we're from Australia. One guy even asked Nadia if she was from Liverpool! We're not sure what to make of this. Perhaps they don't come across many Aussies to know what they sound ...

    ... tried to find somewhere for dinner. We had to make a few calls but were able to find a really lovely restaurant in town. The food was delicious, and we were both excited to see steamed vegetables on our plate, something we had missed with the recent emphasis on typical southern cuisine!     ... guide, Monica, falling out of the
    raft. The over all experience was great even with the freezing cold
    water. Lots of paddling later, we ended up taking a break on some of
    the coolest rocks around the river. The rocks were perfect for
    jumping, and Jeff knew right were too go. Jeff obviously has been
    doing this for a while, and this was evident when he walked across
    the river to help another raft, which had gotten stuck on some nearby
