    ... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

    We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

Then, I hopped back across and finished up the trail at the base of High Falls.     August 18th – day 106

    There were a few museums and things in
    and near Greensboro we could have visited but when I said the word
    Museum, everyone under 16 groaned. I think they have been in plenty
    of museums the last few weeks and are temporarily museumed out. So we
    drove onto to Marion NC. This one did have very small signs which
    said No Overnight camping so we weren't sure if we would get moved on
    or not. ...

    Bob and Jude were not going to go out today and as Jude has told me how dirty my bike is and I should clean it. It was also overdue it next service so I decided I would get some oil and at least give it an oil change, Bob had a spare oil filter that he let me use.     ... guide, Monica, falling out of the
    raft. The over all experience was great even with the freezing cold
    water. Lots of paddling later, we ended up taking a break on some of
    the coolest rocks around the river. The rocks were perfect for
    jumping, and Jeff knew right were too go. Jeff obviously has been
    doing this for a while, and this was evident when he walked across
    the river to help another raft, which had gotten stuck on some nearby
