... a lot of statues in this city which is something unique to the Twin Cities. We took a pedestrian bridge over the road to Luring Park, where we also walked around and saw the Berger Fountain, or as we call it, the Dandelion Fountain (see picture below). Again, they have really cool artwork and sculptures around here! We then went back to the Statue Gardens and had lunch at the Walker Art Center, which was also a cool place!
After lunch, we decided we wanted some rest ...
... apparently one for each day of the week. I had set off with a year's worth of books, returned with twice as many. My ratio of clothes taken to worn was a good 7:1 as I found t-shirts I forgot I even owned. I hope they're mine anyway. What if I'm a sleepwalking kleptomaniac?

The museum also curates and displays a wonderful permanent art exhibit. This stop was not only worth the time, it was a wonderful start to a beautiful trip.
... students! My parents are all ready to go to England and take off later today. We will be close behind tomorrow. Elliot is giddy and anxious to go, but I'm glad to have a nice break from all the activities and responsibilities of MSUM. I've trained in all my replacements and they will be great!
