So, my lasting memory of my summer 2015 trip will be completing the 200 metre sprint through Minneapolis airport. My first flight had been delayed in the airport due to a thunder storm. From there Steven took me on a 20 mile motorcycle ride around Minneapolis. Beautiful city. We road Minnehaha Way all around the City of Lakes to Minnehaha Falls. The homes around the lakes were magnificent. Picture Newton, Commonwealth Ave, lakeside. Wow.

... an industrial town and it shows in their history! We then walked another mile or so to the Nicollet Mall area, which is a downtown strip of outdoor shopping. My mom took a picture next to the Mary Tyler Moore Statue there and we were intrigued by the pedestrian overpasses many of the buildings in that area had (presumably so pedestrians do not have to walk outside in the winter!)
