... across to an outlet mall to compare prices.
We checked into our room about 4:00, the room is not real nice and appears to be in a dodgy suburb but we decide to sty on anyway. After consulting Google we found a place to eat within walking distance, Tailgate Sportsbar - not a bad little spot. We had a feed and spent some time there speaking to the locals who gave us some tips on things to do tomorrow.

Going to see Graceland was in some ways the equivalent of our Lourdes experience in France. Except nix the volunteer aspect here....everyone working at Graceland (and there are a plethora of folks) is a paid employee. You purchase your $45 ticket, you get in line. ... call I got was from my brother. And he was calling to let me know that my uncle had passed away the day before. No one wanted to let me know until I was home. It was sudden and unexpected. He collapsed and he was gone. He was in his fifties. I was devastated upon hearing this news.
