      Unlucky choice in Gunnison, Co

Gunnison CO is in the heart of the Colorado Rockies and the drive there was mostly uphill but our trusty RV managed just fine. We only had two nights and one day in Gunnison and we had to make a choice. Should we go to the Black Canyon National Park which would have been a 60 mile round trip drive to park entrance, or should we spend the day hiking nearer ...

... Jessica... We drove around the city all night when I was dating her. It was our chance to get to know each other and to be alone. Sometimes during the school year we are just going day to day. We see each other at bed and so on. This is good to sit next to my wife for 28, 29 days and to solve these little problems together and to find wonderful things. It's not a luxury for us. I think it's part of our glue as a couple. God has blessed me with this life and this career ...

Our bike mechanic was Jefe Branham, the guy who just won the Tour Divide race. That race is intense, and I am in awe of this guy's achievement. It starts in Canada and finishes in New Mexico- 2,700 miles and 200,000 vertical feet. ...

First day riding with my new cycling buddies. Kirsty is actually a lot faster than she let on. She's been on her trip for about 6 weeks already. Chris carries almost all of her gear and all of her water, so her bike is super light compared to ours. She had never biked before this trip, so she's getting strong as she goes- like me! We stopped before Cimmaron when we saw a man with a large pack walking towards us. His name is Lee and he's a physical therapist. He said ...
