... Falls. We got to the trail, but chose not to do the hike. Again today, the storms were moving in. I didn't want to get caught up on a dirt road that was getting washed out. So we headed back down the mountain and back to Gunnison. The timing was almost perfect. We just got down to the paved road before the heavy rains came.

    Tomorrow - Lake City, CO.

... chores done. Sheila and I even got haircuts. It was a good day to get a movie and relax in the coach. We watched the movie "Wild". It was interesting - reminded me of the folks at SEEC who did the Appalachian trail.

Tomorrow, we head up the mountain in Crested Butte.

The hike itself was fairly flat and allowed us to get real ...

... They said yes and asked me if I expected 100 channels or something. They said the cable consisted of getting the networks from Denver and that was it. I thanked them for their help and headed back to the coach. Good news though - the wireless works great!!

Sheila and spent the rest of the evening deciding on what we wanted to do while we are in the area. There is much to do - I hope we can get it all in.

... quickly lost my balance and plopped gracefully into the stream with both feet up to my knees in water. I was all for taking our shoes off and crossing but Jon vetoed this. I was tempted to pout as my heart had been firmly set on a good hike - but decided to be a sport instead. We cheerfully set off to explore Crested Butte. This is a ski resort town, but ...
