    ... or Platinum access!!

Our room was on the 16th floor with the most magnificent views of both falls. I clicked away madly for a while then we realized how hungry we were and set off in search of sustenance. We found a Hard Rock Café right next door to the hotel so enjoyed a beer and burger there. We then set off exploring. We were both a bit surprised at how big and busy Niagara Falls was – for some reason we ...

... we should have shared. A little bit more retail therapy, and than off for our cruise. We are all rugged up again in our down jackets, beanies and gloves, it's not much warmer than the day before. We are given another disposable poncho and hop on board the Horn-blower. We get great spots up on top and first up we get close to the American and bridal vale falls before heading to the horseshoe falls. Before we get much further we ...

It was so amazing that I suggested we do it again, so we did, or rather, we will - we've booked an evening trip on Friday, when there will be fireworks which should be amazing too.

After drying off a bit, we decided to head over to the USA for the afternoon... as you do!

... immaculately kept, with houses on the left and the river on the right. There's also a recreational trail that seems to go most of the way up, so there were bicyclists and joggers out enjoying the sunshine. The Parkway brought us right up to the Falls, something I've always wanted to see (check that one off the list).

There were a lot of people, but it wasn't terribly crowded. I found parking easily and we walked ...

... plenty of room to move around in our big blue garbage bag-like raincoats as we steamed down to the roaring Horseshoe Falls. If they'd seemed intimidating from above, observing safe and relatively dry from the edge, then they were awesome and even a bit terrifying from below. If you'd stood right at the front of the boat, you may as well have just turned a hose on yourself and be done with it, I've never heard so much screaming when people are obviously enjoying ...
