The question we were asked the most often in Iowa probably was "have you heard of RAGBRAI?". It's an annual bicycle ride from the Missouri to the Mississippi river, across the state of Iowa. It attracts 10 to 20 thousand people each year.

... but unfortunatley a bit of a wasted journey. But, one never knows what gem one will find. The museum is in anold picture theatre and that was good to see.
Stayed at a State Park for $16. Lovely.
