... br> In that one moment Mary and I came face to face with American Exceptionalism. I know the term has fallen out of favor as of late but in that moment we saw what it means in the eyes of someone that does not live here. That waiter felt with all his heart that in America we can all rise as high as we want. What a great lesson for those of us who do live here what a great country to get to come home to.

... BBQ ribs so we ordered take-out and walked the boardwalks meandering through the springs and picked up our order on the way out. Incredibly delicious!
Wednesday evening Pat and Cindy came over for wine and ribs, then finished up the evening at the Tiki Bar. A wonderful way to finish a great week at one of our favorite spots!

... after the call was done he and Richard golf carted to Sumter Landing where I met them for a drink and some nibbles - courtesy of Milt and very much appreciated. Although it was only 5ish it was dark and Milt needed to return to Orlando as the others were somewhat stranded without wheels in a condo.
Neither of us felt like returning to the Square especially since we want to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony tomorrow ...
