Let's start with the good news. The "Daily Sun" reported that Florida's aquifer groundwater levels see a big boost. Lakes, rivers, and springs once beset by drought-like conditions now appear healthy and full of water again. In Sumter County the aquifer level measured 2.7 feet on Dec. 19, a significant increase compared to the same week last year when levels measured just 1.25 feet.
