... ice formations, crevasses and even a river, which runs underneath the entire glacier. Another epic helicopter ride back down and we are all still buzzing off our trip, so after cooling off we dip into the hot pools provided by the company, ranging from 36 to 40 degrees, perfect to relax and warm through! This evening for dinner the resort puts on a pizza buffet dinner, leaving no hungry mouths and with a bottle of red it all seems to slide down pretty ...

... the little town and book our helicopter ride for the next day
We put on our headphones and are on the way feeling nervous and excited but that soon disappears when we start to see the beauty all around us

We are up there for around 30 minutes unfortunately could not land due to the fog and wind threatening but it was a good experience

As Dan was wearing his quicksilver cap and quicksilver t shirt he had acquired back in Perth as part of a cheap combo deal, this was soon recognised by the shop staff who didn’t hesitate to point this out in front of the entire shop, awkward. With a rosy cheeked Dan we made a quick exit, “As if they have the same deals in different countries, I need to buy a jumper!”
