... exciting. It was roughly 5 minutes journey by helicopter and it was pretty spectacular and landing on top of a huge glacier was awesome. Once up on the glacier we could finally see the huge scale of the thing, it was ginormous! It went up further than we could see electric blue in places, bright white in others with huge chunks of ice bigger than houses it was incredible. ... It's a walking track for a reason guys!!! But we were glad they were finally back, then we all headed back to the hostel, ate and chilled out. I do not know as in the UK it appears expensive compared to the European and South American product and we saw no sign of it in China which as you may remember makes vast quantities of its own wine - apparently. Here NZ wine is cheaper but often more expensive than Australian, especially the reds, of course pronounced rids.
