    ... too big to jump so you just walk through – soaking feet. The last annoyance are the crazy Chinese drivers, especially the taxi drivers, who never slow down and in the rainy conditions, that means a spray or a wall of water as they plow through the water welled up against the curbs – wet everything.

    ... milk tea for each student! A lot of kids (120 of them) signed up for a Kids Night Out after school that they paid to attend. Teachers handed out treat from their classrooms as the older kids brought them around in groups. Kids here don’t trick or treat because everyone lives in apartments.     ... something was wrong, but he had finished. He ran out of the stadium, around a small track and that was it - less than 1 km! Stood in line to get his paper that he's ready to go and finished!     ... drove to the end of the street only to stop traffic again by pulling another uturn. In this case our driver rolled down his window and tried to spit on the guy's car. I never got to talk to him about it, because he doesn't speak English, but I agreed with his approach. This is the main reason we will not be driving in China!!     ... I’m still in my sleeveless tops. Tim hit a milestone Thursday. For the first day since we arrived, he didn’t come home from school and have to do a complete change because his clothes were wet with sweat. He also finished the soccer season on the weekend with a tournament. I’ll get him to write about his experience some time.
