... to ride in, along with a carry-on for each of us! Plus diapers and wipes!! That's exhausting to think about! This go round should be much easier, so long as the kids keep up with minding and transporting their own things. We flew over the Mississippi River and straight towards Lake Michigan and the beautiful Chicago skyline, ...

Six am wake up for eleven pm flight . Woot woot Drove along the Colorado for much of the drive from Utah to Denver. Love this river. So wild to see the canyons it has made, and how much this river has shaped the landscape of this part of the country. Welcome to Denver – let our journey begin. ...

We've just spent 10 minutes switching, changing and moving seats... Yikes... I feel bad for the people sitting around us. But we are all settled now... Yanitza, Hannah, Avery and I spent some time perusing the SKYMALL magazine... As we were gagging over the new contraption for piggy back rides (you literally strap the kid to your shoulders "hands free to hold other ...

Staging & Orientation begins

A travel blog entry by daanstrik on Jan 16, 2014

... me...Every morning we take the tram to a point where a shuttle comes to pick us up and brings us to our staging place. From that point to the staging place it takes about 20 minutes. We are the 2nd stop for the shuttle so when we enter the bus there are already people there. The funny thing is, when we return in the evening it takes us 2 hours before we are back at our tram stop because the shuttle drives straight to the first stop which is an hour and half further ...
