    Early morning 4th July off to the Hertz station at Portland airport to pick up our little Corolla while Carol prepared herself following a not great nights sleep. Something to do with snoring!!     ... the first time we have seen this. They certainly wouldn't be able to do this back home in our nanny state! We finally reached Searsport (just short of Belfast) under heavy pea soup fog - so much for coming here for the views! Checked into a cheap motel with a wifi connection that was almost non existent & useless. The only place open was the takeaway in the gas station across the road, so ate pretty poorly that night.
